Massive New 1,020 Acre Development Bringing Over 3,000 Jobs To Iredell County
Larkin Regional Commerce Park in Statesville, NC (North Carolina) – One of the largest mixed-use developments in the Charlotte region is about to be built just north of Lake Norman in Statesville, NC Real Estate.
North Carolina state leaders unveiled plans Friday morning for the new 1,020 acre Larkin development.
Senator Thom Tillis talked at length about what the Larkin Regional Commerce Park project will mean for attracting new companies and industries to our state.
According to the official press release, the development will include over 5 million square feet of commercial space and 750,000 square feet of retail space, including dozens of new restaurants, shops, hotels, and other supporting amenities. The Larkin Regional Commerce Park will also feature an estimated $37 million of infrastructure development, $20 million of which will be coming from the city of Statesville.
Larkin will become one of the largest concentrations of Class A industrial development in the entire state of North Carolina.
It’s now estimated that it will bring upwards of 3,400 new jobs to Iredell County.
Developers are hoping to break ground by the end of this year and officially open for business by the end of 2018.
